What makes these different from the Feast of Favorites arrangements? The Feast of Favorites were written in the lap harp range, playable by almost all harps, small and large. This book is for larger harps and/or pedal harps.
In the drop-down menu you can choose from book, eBook, CD, mp3s and book/CD combo.
“24 Folk Songs and Memories” (48 pages) contains these songs: “All the Pretty Little Horses,” “All Through the Night,” “The Ash Grove,” “Barbara Allen,” “Bicycle Built For Two,” “Carolan’s Dream,” “Cockles and Mussels,” “Down By the Sally Gardens,” “Down In the Valley,” “Flow Gently, Sweet Afton,” “Grandfather’s Clock,” “Home On the Range,” “Home, Sweet Home,” “Loch Lomond,” “Londonderry Aire,” “Long, Long Ago,” “My Bonnie,” “Oh, Dear, What Can the Matter Be?,” “Oh, Shendandoah,” “Red River Valley,” “Scarborough Fair,” “Simple Gifts,” “Streets of Laredo,” and “Sweet Betsy From Pike.”
This book was written for lever or pedal harps (as opposed to lap harps.) Pieces are in keys up to one flat and two sharps. There is no levering or pedalling within the pieces. 48 pages of lovely, playable arrangements. The companion CD was recorded on my Blevins Consort 36 harp.

About “24 Folk Songs and Memories” and “Mood Swings”: “I am REALLY enjoying both books! Played them in three different facilities on this past Thurs and Friday. Clever switching of time signatures on some of the folk songs — even though I have played them a few times now, the change still surprises me and I find myself grinning as I lilt into the new meter. I am enjoying your intros and interludes as well. And I think the bass part you wrote for the beginning of Long Long Ago is loads of fun. My audiences enjoyed listening not only because of your arrangements, but also because of my pleasure in playing them!
And you continually amaze me with how you much volume you write and still keep it sounding fresh! I particularly like the Moderately Modal, The Jig is Up, In the Minority and Finding Peace. GREAT JOB!” Roxanne Z, NY
